U14 & U12 Outdoor Teams

Our U14 and U12 teams are open to any players that were age 13 or younger on 1/1/25. No prior experience is necessary.

Our goal for our youth teams is to continue to learn the game, have opportunities to scrimmage and play games, as well as strengthen our individual skills, introduce higher level skills, and develop decision making on the field.

Two years ago our U14 Team took home the medal at the Buffalo Tournament, and participated in some various regional scrimmages.

This year, our Outdoor session will run from the middle of April through July. Our teams will participate in 2 tournaments, practicing 1-2 times per week (typically Sunday mornings unless there is a tournament that day) as well as participating in some local and regional scrimmages. Practice schedules will be released month by month and is subject to change as many of our athletes and coaches will be in season for the school modified teams.

Registration cost is $125 which will include their USA Field Hockey Local Club Membership. New players will need to purchase a uniform which they can continue to use until they age out at 19. Information about ordering uniforms will be sent out when registration closes.

The tournaments we plan on attending are:

• Buffalo Hurricanes

• Irondequoit

All travel and accommodations for events will be the responsibility of the participant. Irondequoit Fury will not be responsible for, or provide supervision of participants outside of the tournament and during periods of travel.
